【APEC2001记者招待会】

　　东方明珠国际新闻中心，云集世界领袖及媒体，与国际会议中心、科技馆并称APEC三大场馆。其中最为重要的是江泽民主席、钱其琛副总理、唐家璇外长出席的作为APEC总结的记者招待会。卓鑫公司以新颖晶透的玻璃结构一致得到外交部朱邦造、章启月司长赞赏，战胜PICO等多家公司，获主场承办。江主席在发布会上称“顶呱呱”。会后该场馆作为APEC精点向市民开放。

The International Media Center, one of the three main event venues of 2001 APEC meeting (The other two are: International Convention Center and Shanghai Science and Technology Museum). One of the most important highlight is hosted by H.E. President Jiang Zemin, together with Vice Premier, H.E. Qian Qichen and Foreign Minister, H.E. Tang Jiaxuan. S-eminent finally get the bid after a furious competition to undertake this great event, using their words, glittering and translucent glass structure gained the appreciation of Mr. Zhu Bangzao and Ms. Zhang Qiyue, chief heads of Foreign Affairs Ministry. The press site is now open to public as a spotlight.
